The Preparation
Soak the noodles
Soak the bihon noodles in water for about 10 minutes or until slightly soft. Drain and set aside.
Cook the meat
Heat oil in a pan. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant. Add chicken or pork and cook until done.
Add the broth and seasoning
Pour in the chicken broth. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce, then bring to a boil.
Add the vegetables
Add carrots, cabbage, and other vegetables. Cook for a few minutes until slightly tender.
Add the noodles
Add the soaked bihon noodles into the pan. Gently toss and mix until the noodles absorb the liquid.
Season and mix
Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Continue mixing until evenly cooked.

Serve hot with calamansi on the side.
